I came in like a wrecking ball – Handling Heavy Pluto Transits

Dec 23, 2024 | Blog, Pluto

In this post I wanted to offer a bit of wisdom for anyone going through an intense Pluto transit or aspect, either in by transit to your natal chart or in your solar return.

PLUTO CYCLES FEEL WORSE WHEN YOU CLING ONTO THAT WHICH PLUTO IS TRYING TO STRIP AWAY FROM YOU

(Ohhh ahhaha riiiight – how I wish I’d known this truth before my “awakening”. Might have saved me from making videos of myself hyperventilating my stories into a camera for an invisible audience and writing love letters to my children in case I didn’t make it) fuuuun. To be fair, not everyone’s awakening happens in tandem with suffering abuse on the scale we were up against.

So – truly – take it from someone who has really been there quite literally sobbing on the floor wondering what on earth was happening. You may have to contend with being trapped, manipulated, lied to, controlled, coerced, forced, projected upon, hated, vilified and stripped of every shred of pride and dignity.  Pluto serves to strip away any façade that is stopping you being your true soul self.

Pluto wants to strip you of all cages – visible and invisible – and restore you to true soul freedom whilst in the physical. (I mean, the Pluto WITHIN YOU wants this too, it may be that human you has forgtten).

The soul is already free, but on Earth it’s all CAGE CAGE CAGE CAGE CAGE

Wherever you have abandoned your own soul, Pluto will invite you to reclaim it. Only it comes in less like a party invitation and more like a wrecking ball.

Illusions, falsehoods, false idols, false beliefs, limiting stories, listening to other people’s nonsense and calling it “just real life” or worse, “truth”, clinging onto future visions you had during “that one time… during meditation”, or any imaginative longings that are nonsense to your here and now self. Yep, it can all go.

Pluto transits relieve of us imagining a too-rosy future rather than allowing natural joy to arise from real life and the stripping of all untruths – because to be honest the simplicity of what we find at the bottom of our own well usually feels really good. When all else is taken off.

When you embrace the death and rebirth cycle – accepting that something is dying – maybe an old belief – and flow with the growth that your soul already chose, then you might be able to reflect upon this difficult transit and later say, ohh I see now, it was all *happening for me*.  But in all likelihood – if you’re right in the thick of a difficult Pluto transit and someone says “it’s all happening for you”, you might just lose it with them.

Don’t worry, everyone will have at least one challenging Pluto transit to contend with at some point. No exceptions. It’s what you do with it that counts – your soul came here to grow, which means that trying to put the lid back on Pandora’s box is not going to work.

When you get to the bottom of the darkness, and see the evils of this world, you will be invited to flush what no longer serves your highest alignment out of your own system, see it for what it is, and what you find remains is your own treasure – your own golden light.
