Caught myself this morning being judgey. I’ll admit to being a recovering judgemental. I was judging whether certain (sponsored) offers in the online space are jumping on a “𝑺𝑷𝑰𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑼𝑨𝑳 𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑫𝑾𝑨𝑮𝑶𝑵”.
Basically my mind wonders are these people who are really proficient at sales applying spirituality on top, reducing spirituality to a buzzword, a sticking plaster, a trendy concept or a mindset hack????
I feel awkward & concerned that people will (1) fall for it (2) incur damage to their wallet and mental health
Anyway, I’m choosing to call myself out on this because….. how TF is it even my concern what others think or believe or the path they take?
If someone goes on a “spiritual course” that turns out a bit crap, then they will probably learn a spiritual lesson from it, right?!
So I said to myself “Back TF off Rachel! Stop overthinking. Focus on your own journey, beliefs, integrity, guidance and offers instead.”
Phew. See, I can coach myself Then I flipped it….
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝.
Self coaching continues…
Dig again, Rachel, what’s the next layer underneath this?
Turns out I’m annoyed with MYSELF for not speaking up more loudly for MY BELIEFS AND VALUES…. (our stuff is our stuff)
I’m a passionate advocate of DEEP SELF-SOUL-UNDERSTANDING as the foundation principle of spirituality.
YOU – knowing yourself!
Seeking within – and then seeking within some more
I believe that spirituality is living as your own spirit!
Deeply understanding yourself – being more of that – more unique – and taking decisions from that place
Living as the perfect divine soul self you already chose pre-birth
Since this is literally written in your birth date, time and location – the sheer perfection of you is already written (and I can read it) – this is why Astrology is so powerful, useful and soul edifying
I believe that spirituality is finding your own divine light and magic and personality and preferences
Accepting YOU without judgement
And BEING that as often as possible
Sounds simple pahahaha
Well no. This often requires doing an absolute tonne of personal development work to decondition and unravel from all the ways in which you have been encouraged / programmed / told / rewarded for being less than your true self (it might suit society, but it does not serve you)
And it takes fierce determined ongoing continual work to keep on discovering more about yourself, unravelling more layers, unveiling more veils, distancing yourself from noise that distracts you from your path
And the courage and determination to stay rock steady on your own path
Then there’s all the recovery from your wounds around not fitting in, feeling like a freak, being misunderstood, invalidated, not listened to, belittled, not belonging, the sting of being rejected simply for being you
There’s all the recovery from persecution that your soul-body remembers that you didn’t get chance to recover from in another life, process or EMBODY because you were basically dead
So you have to recover from and heal from ALL THAT!
And continue to be unapologetically your true self anyway
I celebrate YOU as scriptwriter of your own story. You as divine creator. YOU telling THEM who you are!
I model this and I teach it. I’ve been reclaiming these aspects of myself deliberately (with about 256,000 detours) since 2012.
I get it, in a world that seeks quick fixes, it’s deeply unsexy of me to have “taken so long”
I don’t mind that, it is my truth to dive into every polarity and still find self as Source. I AM the treasure.
The practice of seeking within – whatever tools you use – whatever framework you apply – that is the seat of spirituality.
If you’re seeking spirituality, then you are seeking SELF
Seek wise guides and helpers whose motivation it is to guide you back to yourself as the centre of the Universe
Dig deep inside yourself to find your own unshakeable intuition and wisdom and then you will know without a doubt the ones who are here to help shift humanity in the deepest, truest, most lasting ways
With love
Rachel xx
