It’s Capricorn season – the Sun is passing through Capricorn and today it’s the new moon in Capricorn 23rd December 2022.
Capricorn energy overseas the festive Winter holiday season. I think there’s a lot to be gained from feeling into how we can draw upon Capricorn’s ambitious, thoughtful, steady energy at this time of year (whatever traditions or customs you may be observing – or not).
Capricorn has a reputation as being serious and yet some of the most fun-loving witty people I know have Sun in Capricorn.
When I feel into the aspect more deeply I realise they have something in common: a serious, determined energy about being committed to their goals – a determination towards self-mastery.
And a commitment to see something through to the end.
Capricorn has a natural tendency for planning, ambition and mastery. We can move away from simply applying that to climbing the corporate ladder, as these attributes can apply to any area of life.
Whatever area Capricorn chooses to place their focus upon they will climb to the top of their own mountain in their own way in their own sweet time. Capricorn Suns help us understand the energy of Capricorn as they radiate it naturally – we can learn it from observing them and being in their energy.
What’s more, we all have Capricorn guiding an area of our life as seen through our charts. Mine is communication, 3rd house.
